DCEU’s Birds of Prey: 8 actresses who will diversify the heroines

The 29-year old daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonnet has made a name for herself. From drama to comedy, there’s no role she shy’s away from and no matter the role, Kravitz kills it. With Kravitz 34 films under her belt she has stepped far out of her father’s shadow. Furthermore, she previously starred in a comic book movie. Her claim to fame was in 2011’s X-Men: First Class as Angel Salvadore, a stripper who joins the Hell Fire Club, betraying Professor X and Magneto.

Furthermore, Kravitz shined in two critically acclaimed films, Dope and Mad Max Fury Road. Kravitz’s talent stands out and a few of her characters were tough as nails and strong.

Kravitz will bring out the tortured intense parts of Barbara Gordon. Aren’t those the reasons why she trained and became Oracle?  Kravitz can capture that. If Yan’s film adapts Batgirl, Kravitz has proven that she’s ready to strap on some spandex and kick ass. In fact, that’s what she did as Christina in the Divergent Series. The movies weren’t critically successful but Kravitz proved that she’s ready to star in her own film, as the hero. So why not As Barbra Gordon in Birds of Prey?
