Helena Bertinelli/Huntress

Huntress is like an antihero in the way that she uses lethal force as justice for her victims.  Yes, her story revolves around the mafia and they are often associated with Sicily. In fact, Helena Bertinelli spent much of her days in Sicily. Nevertheless, the term mafia is broad and is a term used to describe an organized crime group. And organized crime exists all over the world. We believe the essence of who Huntress isn’t dictated by her nationality. With the call for diversity she is the ideal character to employ the change.

Christian Serratos

Christian Serratos is known for her role in the Twilight Saga. Although her role was as a supporting actress who is kind and unassuming. However, on AMC’s The Walking Dead, Serratos plays the resourceful bad-0ass Rosita. The similarities between Rosita and Huntress are parallel from the characteristics to the look. Rosita has shown to be quick on her feet and a savage when it comes to protecting the people she loves. There’s no holding her back thank you take action nature.

Before TWD, Serratos played Lena, a carjacker in the short-lived series 96 Minutes. Serratos played a Similarly to Bertinelli, Serratos has dark hair and a cool skin tone that makes her look like she’s cut straight from the comics. Additionally, like Helena, Serratos is also of Italian descent. So she’ll add diversity in addition to allowing Birds of Prey to keep her Sicilian toes a factor in her story.
