While the Marvel Cinematic Universe is starved for villains (because they keep killing them), Ghost may not become a villain or even go on a quest for redemption. When Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War 50% of the beings in the universe turned into dust (we’ve all seen the memes). That included some of the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Black Panther. With the available heroes numbers cut in half, The Avengers might have to look at some villains to fill in the gaps.

The Avengers 4 poster showed Scott Lang on the cover. It wouldn’t take long for Lang to suggest Ghost help them. Her powers would work perfectly in a throw-down with Thanos. You can’t hurt what you can’t hit. In return for her help, Shuri (if she’s still alive) could help her maintain her solid form without the suit. Maybe even give her greater control of it. Wakandan technology could work wonders for her.

Ghost doesn’t need to be a star of the movie. Thankfully, her personality makes her an easy character to be aware of and won’t be disruptive. Plus, when it gets to fighting the bad guys, she has more than enough skill to hold her own. It wouldn’t be shocking if her and Nebula got along. Plus, putting her in a Marvel movie like Avengers gives her a bit of a boost to further her character’s development whether she stays a hero or remains a villain.
