2. Bradley Cooper

I can’t be the only fan hoping to see Bradley Cooper jump ship from Marvel to DC. If he does, there’s no better noncommittal opportunity than a one-off film like Todd Phillips’ untitled Joker movie. In fact, there’s no other actor on the list that shares the same familiarity as these two. Phillips directed Cooper in the Hangover trilogy, could we see the two reunite?

Cooper is an underrated actor who can do it all from comedy to emotional drama. One of his many roles that lend itself to Thomas Wayne is The Place Beyond the Pines.

It’s an American-crime drama where he plays a cop turned lawyer after he murders a bank robber. He’s remorseful and does good cop that wants to make things right. Avery uses blackmail to pursue his legal endeavors after he tried to do the right thing by turning in some stolen money from a crime scene.

Similarly to Thomas Wayne, Avery gains power and notoriety he’s charming and appears tough as nails. Cooper would bring a great dynamic to the role that would allow for some freedom to give Thomas Wayne a different character. Whether he’s more like Bruce Wayne as a quiet slick playboy or has some swag and outgoing charisma to him, Cooper can pull it off.
