9 Batman villains that could potentially appear in Birds of Prey

We’ve had a number of Batman films over the years depicted on the big screen. Here are nine villains from the Caped Crusader’s world that Birds of Prey could feature.

Early reports suggested that Penguin would be the villain in Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey. However, that’s not going to happen. According to The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzales, the Penguin, a popular Batman villain, wasn’t removed from Christina Hudson’s script.

Although BoP will not use the longtime Batman for, Birds of Prey will feature a Batman villain never before seen on the big screen. Batman fans are aware of the dozens of rogues that appeared in movies at some point. After all, the first live-action Batman film happens debut in 1943. Over the decades we’ve seen a who’s who of Batman villains depicted. So who is the villain we’ll see in Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey? Here are eight villains we could see in Birds of Prey. 

9. Black Mask

There are two versions of Black Mask. The first is Roman Sionis was a failed owner of a cosmetic business. After he struggled to keep his business afloat he turned to a life of crime. He developed a cult following in Gotham and ran his own underground criminal organization, False Face Society. Jeremiah Arkham is the second Black Mask the former head of Arkham Asylum. As Black Mask, he implants Arkham patients with deadly chips that he could detonate if they don’t help him. With the help of Doctor Death, Fright, and Hugo Strange, Jeremiah would make a compelling Birds of Prey foe.
