House of M
It was known as the darkest day in Avengers history. The Scarlet Witch Wanda Maximoff lost control of her reality-altering powers and destroyed the Avengers mansion and killed some of her teammates. Thankfully, Dr. Strange intervened before she could cause any more damage. After that, Magneto took his daughter away to Genosha where he hoped his friend Profesor Xavier could help her.

After a while, Xavier realized that he couldn’t help her. He went to New York and organized the X-Men and Avengers in hopes to find a way to help Scarlet Witch. Wolverine and Emma Frost voted to kill her. Since Xavier and Dr. Strange couldn’t help her, then she should be, as Emma said, put down. They were outvoted by the rest of the Avengers.
Before the two teams could get together and see Wanda in Genosha, her brother Pietro (Quicksilver) talked her into remaking their reality and giving all the heroes what they always wanted. It ends with Wanda putting the world back and destroying the mutant gene in 90% of the world.
This was an event that set the Marvel Universe on its head for seven years. Having House of M in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could bring an event that spans every movie and show. At the very least it could be a two part event. It’s a great way to incorporate the Netflix crew like Luke Cage and Danny Rand into a movie without making them a focal point. Also, this movie would make Avengers: Infinity War money with all of the star power and characters that would be involved.
