2. Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson (Deadpool)

If you want to talk about a role someone born to play, look no further than Ryan Reynolds. When it was announced that he was going to be playing the Merc with a Mouth, I immediately knew there was no way he was going to fail. Look no further than his part in Blade Trinity. Amplify that by a thousand and you get Deadpool.

If that wasn’t enough, Reynolds fought to have Deadpool be an R-rated film. This started the trend that let comic book movies like Logan succeed. Reynold’s passion for the character helped turn what could have been a one-off into a franchise.

A movie with just jokes isn’t a franchise. Beyond all the levity and the violence, Deadpool is a caring character with a tragic life. It showed people a side of Wade Wilson that they didn’t know existed. All the memes don’t show how he cared for people despite his bad luck.

Reynolds showed his love for Vanessa in part one and two and even his love for a kid who he knew just needed someone to care. Everything about him was absolutely perfect. There is only one person who was better than he was.
