Spider-Man villains worthy of a solo Sony movie

Norman Osborn
Of all the Spider-Man villains Norman Osborn might be the most relentless. Osborn has an unhealthy obsession with Spider-Man. He’s gone as far as to kill Peter’s girlfriend, torment his family, and even lied to the twins of Gwen Stacy (that Norman fathered) and told them that Spider-Man and Peter Parker are the reason their mother isn’t alive. Beyond the fixation, Osborn is a ruthless genius. He’s spun the media into hating the Avengers and even found a way to have the public forgive and forget his time as the Green Goblin.
A Norman Osborn movie would be an amazing villain flick. Not a movie where you wonder if he’s good or bad. Something where we see how much of a scumbag he really is. A Norman Osborn movie that shows the rise of his company to watching him fall as the Green Goblin could be something we haven’t seen in a comic book movie.
Some may say that Norman doesn’t work without Spider-Man or Peter Parker, but as long as he’s obsessing over someone or something, it will work. Norman Osborn is that great of a character.
