The Green Arrow’s team has had many roster changes over its six years. This is a ranking of the ten best members, from solid bench players to the most valuable teammates on Arrow.

Not long ago, it would be hard to imagine that Oliver Queen’s Team Arrow would have so many superheroes counted among it that we can list the ten greatest members. Green Arrow started as a lone vigilante known as the Hood, yet he quickly gained some help and continued to add new recruits year over year.

The following list does not include the featured superhero himself, since the Green Arrow is the leader overseeing the group and without him there would be no Team Arrow. Therefore the ranking focuses on the heroic men and women who have fought beside him during his time as the savior of Star City. Certain qualities like loyalty, superhero abilities, and even tenure may be a factor into the ranking. Now let’s set our aim for the bull’s eye and let some arrows fly.

10. Atom (Ray Palmer)

Palmer is a billionaire with a tech company – not a novel origin for a superhero’s story. He got into the crime fighting business because his fiance was killed and he wanted to be able to protect good people from the villains that threaten society.

After inventing his super suit, he got right to helping out Oliver and company against the League of Assassins. He required a lot of practice in order to keep up with Team Arrow, but his confidence never wavered. At best Atom could be called a part-time Team Arrow member – his biggest accomplishments as a superhero come from his time as a Legend of Tomorrow.

9. Canary/White Canary (Sara Lance)

Sara Lance is currently the captain of the Legends of Tomorrow’s Waverider; she would be higher on a list of greatest Legends, but she also deserves to be on this list since that is where she was first established as a hero. Like Atom, she also wasn’t a full-time member of Team Arrow.

She learned how to become an assassin under Ra’s Al Ghul’s tutelage and she had a rough time breaking away from that deadly guise. Sara was able to help people alongside Oliver as she was the best hand to hand combatant on his team. Her death and subsequent resurrection certainly complicated matters for her, so joining Rip Hunter’s time traveling troupe was the best move for her on a personal level. Her history with Star City and Oliver makes it special whenever the two teams collaborate.

8. Overwatch (Felicity Smoak)

Every hero needs a “guy in the chair”, or in this case a brilliant technologically savvy computer hacking gal in the chair. One of the earliest to join Team Arrow, Felicity is more invested in the squad than any other member due to her romantic relationship with Oliver. Felicity has become a renaissance woman; she is one of the world’s most accomplished computer hackers and was also CEO of Palmer Tech and founder of Helix Dynamics, all while guiding superheroes from the Arrowcave as Overwatch.

Although not a fighter like the rest of the team, Felicity is a vital part of most missions, especially when the heroes are up against hackers like the Calculator (her father) or the Bug-Eyed Bandit. But most importantly, she is counted on for situations such as rerouting nuclear missiles. Eventually Oliver and Felicity get married and she is now in the demanding position of caring for Oliver’s son as he is locked away in prison. Will Felicity help her husband gain his freedom?
