2. Matt Bomer

If the DCEU wants a carbon copy of Henry Cavill as it pertains to looks. There’s no need to any further than his celebrity doppelgänger, Matt Bomer. Being a lookalike isn’t the only reason we think he could be the next Superman.  As a matter of fact, Bomer voiced The Last Son of Krypton for Warner Bros DC animated movie Superman Unbound. Moreover, Bomer’s name has circled around the internet for years. He’s a fan favorite to play the role of Batman. And, he was among one of the top choices among fans to play Shazam.

Walter Hamada may opt to pick up where Justice League left off.  Luckily, Bomer has the comedic chops that would lend itself to a lighter Superman… see White Collar. Or, he can take Superman man back to where it all started with Zack Snyder. The latter works very well considering how great Bomer was in American Horror Story Hotel as Donavan.

Moreover, Bomer isn’t a stranger to the big screen with roles in Magic Mike, The Last Tycoon, and The Normal Heart.  Bomer is already 40 and we doubt Walter Hamada has plans to make a Superman Kingdom Come film just yet. Still, despite his age, Bomer looks amazing. We don’t see why he couldn’t pull off whatever version of Superman and Clark Kent they need for the DCEU.
