Disney is developing a Loki and Scarlet series with plans of creating more series for other MCU characters — here’s who deserves a solo series.

Disney isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to their streaming service, and why should they? They have enough money to pour into any project — might as well go all in. After all, their Marvel Cinematic Universe has made the company billions of dollars. For its streaming service, Disney has already announced that two MCU characters are set to get their own spin-off miniseries, Loki and Scarlet Witch.

Variety also reported that Loki and Scarlet Witch aren’t the only heroes to be featured. Additionally, the studio is interested in developing other miniseries’ for characters who haven’t had solo films. Based on the news, one can assume the streaming service will focus on already established MCU characters. However, that’s not to say we won’t see new faces in the future. With that said, we have a list of MCU characters who deserve their own ventures on the small screen.

6. Nick Fury

How did Nick Fury become Nick Fury – that’s what the Disney streaming miniseries can reveal to us. If you aren’t a comic book reader, chances are you didn’t know there two Nick Fury’s. There’s also a chance you didn’t know he had two eyes. Okay, so the Captain Marvel trailer might have given that away. Nevertheless, a show focusing on the early exploits of Nick Fury would be great.

His time serving as the leader of the Howling Commandos during World War II would be particularly interesting. The Howling Commandos were a group of soldiers, who excelled at a high level under his leadership. A war drama may be a little too mature for Disney, but it’ll be interesting to see if it happens nonetheless. Fans could journey with him as climbs the ranks to become the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. Captain Marvel could likely give us a deeper look into Fury’s history. However, we can’t help but want a Nick Fury miniseries.
