9. Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman

How does Ben Affleck follow what many perceive as one of the best movie trilogies of all time (Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight) and all the criticism of being cast as Batman? Easy, you go in there and show everyone why you’ve been in the game for over twenty years. The first thing I thought when they cast Ben Affleck was he looks like the Bruce Wayne from Batman: The Animated Series. They both have the same square chin and broad shoulders. He also looked exactly how a grizzled, older Bruce Wayne would look. Then, when he hit the screen, there was no doubt he was the right choice.

You can say whatever you want about Batman not killing, but this was a Batman that people have wanted for years. As Bruce Wayne in public, he portrayed the playboy we know he is. He may not have been awkward, but he was the smooth Bruce from the comics. In private, he was just as smart and stubborn as he was in the comics. What if Batman killed? Well, this is what it looks like. Even though he killed this is still hands down the best Batman performance we’ve seen that’s not Kevin Conroy. Hopefully, all of the rumors about Affleck no longer being Batman in the future are false. He’s the the Batman star we want and deserve.
