Even if you don’t have the best fighting style, experience may be the most important thing in a fight. If you’ve trained your whole life and never gotten into a fight won’t mean anything. All the practice in the world won’t mean anything until you get hit in the face and know you can take a hit. Both Carol Danvers and Diana Prince have been in their share of knock-down, drag-out fights and both women have overcome insurmountable odds and come out on top.
Carol Danvers has had her share of fights and training with the United States military, the Avengers, and spent some time with the X-Men. But that’s nothing compared to being trained from birth by the Amazonians. Wonder Woman was trained by what people may consider the most fierce warriors that have ever lived. They know to have honor in battle, but also to show no mercy when necessary.
Wonder Woman has decades of training and actually fighting under her belt. Captain Marvel is versed, but not like this.
