Venom: Marvel characters that have been Venom

Flash Thompson
After Mephisto made the marriage of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson never happen (Spider-Man: One More Day), it changed the course of more than just their love life. Flash Thomson’s life was also affected. Instead of his life that put him in a coma and befriending Peter Parker after High School, he re-joined the military. During the Iraq War, Flash lost both of his legs. He later bonded to the symbiote and became a different kind of Venom.
Flash went on to become Agent Venom — a Venom who ended up joining the Secret Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and Red Hulk’s Thunderbolts. Flash’s stint as Venom was fun. He had a different set of morals than Peter Parker. He may not have been happy about killing, but he understood that it was sometimes a necessity.
Of all the people who have been Venom, Flash Thompson was definitely the most creative. He used it for stealth in enemy territories, and used his agility and shape shifting-powers to make it easier to hit targets with his guns. Flash also didn’t rely on the suit’s strength to get the job done.

Angelo Fortunato
This was easily the weirdest moment in the life of Venom. After Eddie Brock had a change of heart about being Venom, he auctioned off the symbiote to the highest bidder and donated the money to charity. All of the greediest villains in the Marvel Universe were there trying to win the coveted symbiote suit. The auction was won by Don Fortunato, who wanted the suit in hopes to make something out of his son. Well, this didn’t work out to well for Angelo. The suit eventually rejected Angelo seeing the cowardice in him. The suit disconnected from Angelo in mid-air and Angelo fell to his death.
Not everyone can handle what it takes to be Venom. Angelo was too busy trying to impress his father to realize he wasn’t ready for this kind of responsibility. However, Venom, on the body of a gangster, would have been an interesting storyline. A mob enforcer with this kind of power could run New York. It might have taken Spider-Man and a few other street heroes to take down someone like that.
