Mac Gargan

After the suit left Angelo, it eventually found its way to Mac Gargan. The name may not sound familiar, but he’s the Scorpion. If he still doesn’t sound familiar, Spider-Man said it best in an issue of New Avengers, “He throws his butt at you.” Mac Gargan is probably my favorite Venom. He definitely wasn’t the best, but that’s what made him great. He was unpredictable, not in control of the suit and was one of the few Venoms that actually ate people. He once ate a guy’s arm in an issue of Thunderbolts and spit out the armor. Gargan ate an Atlantean then said it tasted like sushi — and that Skrulls make him gassy. During Gargan’s time as Venom, he was a member of Norman Osborn’s Thunderbolts and Dark Avengers.

Mac’s time as Venom was short-lived, but it worked. Mac was the scary Venom that everyone raves about. He was massive and cannibalistic. The only problem was Mac was too insecure. He hated that people saw him as a killer and a cannibal. But, he also said that he didn’t know how he went so long without the suit.
