Iron Fist: Where could the characters end up?

Possible futures for the cast of Iron Fist, with the show officially canceled.

Despite having a much better second season, Iron Fist was the first of the Marvel Netflix series to be canceled. It appears that no matter what was done in season 2, the criticism season 1 received was too much to recover from. This means that questions like how Danny regained the power of the Iron Fist may never get answered. However, here’s good news for people who enjoyed the cast of Iron Fist. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is big enough to involve other characters.

The Marvel Netflix series are built off of the heroes that stay closer to the street. Connecting them all together was a brilliant idea. This means that even if one show is canceled, there is still a place for the other characters to have guest appearances or become part of the cast. We’ve already seen Misty Knight, Foggy Nelson, and Claire Temple in multiple shows. It would make sense that you’d also see other characters appear. But where can they appear?

Daredevil

Daredevil was the first of the Netflix shows and may be the most consistent. It’s maintained all of the elements of the comic book all while being relatable to a world based on “realistic” superpowers. It’s also a place where Danny Rand can appear from time to time to help Matt Murdock. In the comics, Matt Murdock is exposed as Daredevil. When this happens, Danny Rand becomes Daredevil in an attempt to prove that Matt isn’t the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen while Matt is in jail.

At the end of Defenders, it looked like Danny was going to protect Hell’s Kitchen while Matt was thought to be dead. In season 2 of Iron Fist it appears that Danny stayed in Chinatown. Matt might have words for Danny if he didn’t keep the city safe while he was away. Season 3 of Daredevil looks like Matt will be a lot darker than what we’ve seen. This means that Danny might provide wisdom to help Matt regain his morals.
