Review: Spider-Geddon #2 brings in more characters
Spider-Geddon is getting into the thick of things with the second issue in the mini-series. What are the Inheritors up to?
There are spoilers ahead for Spider-Geddon #2.
With Spider-Geddon only spanning five issues, the second one starts getting into more of the story. The Inheritors don’t have Doc Ock’s lab to use so they have to find another place to do their work. The heroes are still recruiting as many people as they can, though, which is where the Edge of Spider-Geddon issues tie in.
The entire family is together again, minus Karn. However, his sister does pay him a visit and it doesn’t go so well for him. The Inheritors are brutal and we get a good look at that in this issue. Our heroes think that Spider-Gwen has met her demise, too, but that isn’t quite the case. The story throws in a little misdirection to motivate the heroes even more.
While it’s great to see a ton of Spider-People together in this story, they haven’t had too much to do so far. They watch the lab explode from afar and basically leave so that they can regroup later. I wish that they were moving a little faster with this story, but they at least have something starting to come together in this issue.

As far as the art goes, the book looks pretty good. Jorge Molina has the tall task of drawing so many characters and I think he handles it well. David Curiel’s color work allows each character to easily stand out. You’ll be able to easily distinguish the different Spider-Men and Spider-Women.
While I would like to have seen more things in motion at this points, I’m hoping that things pick up with the remaining three issues. Right now, the tie-ins have been more interesting than the main series. But mostly, I just want to see what happens with Spider-Gwen being stuck on a different Earth.
