The Void
The Void is going to be a character that people who don’t read comic books won’t be familiar with. He is the evil side of one of Bob Reynolds two super-powered alter egos (The other being the Sentry). The Void’s looks seems to continuously change. At one point he appeared as a separate person. Just a black ink-like humanoid figure in an overcoat coat and hat. In the New Avengers, he was the Void appeared as a monster with different looks. As time went on he’d sometimes look like The Sentry with dark, black, soulless eyes.
As if having seemingly limitless power isn’t bad enough, The Void doesn’t seem to care about anything other than destruction. Norman found a way to reason with him and control him. However, that wasn’t going to last forever. The Void’s appearance was always freaky and scary. His human form with the black eyes leaves a supernatural look. His other forms that sometimes appeared bug-like or like demons with tendrils like something out of a H.P. Lovecraft book.
The Avengers will eventually fight the Sentry/Void. His look may be too scary for their PG-13 rating, but it could help make The Void’s appearance more intimidating. If he was to be in his own movie, they could play up the fact that he would sometimes kill people and not even realize it.
