Carnage
As much as everyone loves Venom (the character, not the movie), Carnage may be a more anticipated character. Cletus Kasady was already homicidal before the alien symbiote got a hold of him. Kasaday was a serial killer with dozens of kills under his belt. Adding the symbiote just made him harder to apprehend and gave him the means to be a more creative killer, which was the last thing someone like Kasaday needed.
Kasaday would go on to kill hundreds of people as Carnage, and it doesn’t look like he will be stopping any time soon.
Here’s the best part of Carnage being in a slasher flick, you don’t have to start with him being in the suit. Cletus Kasady is crazy enough to play the classic serial killer role. That topped with his very disturbing upbringing and there’s no way this movie doesn’t succeed. Sony arguably doesn’t need Venom in a Carnage movie. He’s that good of a character.
Topping that with Kasady’s ability to make weapons out his suit, his belief that, “Chaos is a reality and order is an illusion,” and you get everything you need to have a successful horror movie franchise.
