With news that Iron Fist has been cancelled by Netflix after two seasons, fans and pundits alike it ended questions on the show’s future. What is for certain is there is an option for Iron Fist to either go on a television network, possibly, or switch to a new streaming service owned by The Walt Disney Company. Time will tell, although what is clear is that the show featuring Danny Rand (Finn Jones) clearly has more stories to tell and indeed had a rather an abrupt end.

Following the development of season 2, Buck, who went on to be executive producer and showrunner for Inhumans, was replaced by Raven Metzner, who co-wrote another Marvel property, Elektra. There was a noticeable improvement, but despite this, Netflix execs declined to keep Iron Fist.
