1. The Kingpin

Both a worthy adversary to Spider-Man, Daredevil and to a lesser extent, to The Punisher, Wilson Fisk is a ruthless and powerful businessman. Having returned to New York City after many years, Fisk developed plans to rebuild Hell’s Kitchen and quickly allied with criminal empires such as the Russian Mafia, Yakuza and Madame Gao of the Hand’s sect of the Triads into his criminal enterprise.

Fisk struggled to keep on top of the activities as he went to war with the Russians and had a rivalry with Nesbitt, part of a mob called the Kitchen Irish.

Daredevil, by then known as just the Masked Man, became a new player on the scene whose vigilante actions proved to be a nuisance towards Fisk and his efforts. He eventually exposed Fisk’s seedy activities and placed him in prison. After some time locked up, Fisk schemed to manipulate the FBI, while consolidating his power over the other prisoners, guards and officers whilst being detained.

Fisk blackmailed many federal agents, including Special Agent Poindexter, who rescued him from an ambush by the Albanian mob. Fisk used Poindexter’s unique peak-human aim to pose as Daredevil and frame his sworn enemy.

Fashioning himself as somewhat a “Kingpin” of the criminal underworld, Fisk on many occasions in the comics, hired Typhoid Mary as his personal assassin. She first appeared in Daredevil #254 and had a romance with Kingpin while her timid and quiet alter, Mary, developed a relationship with Matt.

While Fisk’s hold over Poindexter (in the show) eventually came back to bite him in the midst of his wedding to Vanessa Marianna (Ayelet Zurer) once his former accessory learned of his betrayal from Daredevil. Fisk, despite reluctantly making a deal with Matt to withhold his secret identity, leave Franklin “Foggy” Nelson (Elden Henson), Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and his loved ones alone in return for relieving his newlywed wife of his crimes where she ordered the death of an FBI agent, who posed a threat to Fisk’s campaign.

Being a criminal mastermind and schemer, no doubt Fisk will quietly find a way to ruin Matt’s life completely: enter Walker. A chance meeting of Walker would likely involve Matt, but Poindexter either may get in the way or can be used to her and ultimately Fisk’s advantage. Through Kingpin, while Mary could be repulsed by Fisk, Walker and her third, bloodthirsty personality may be enamored by him. At the end of the day, Walker’s only interest is being paid for her services, no matter the target.
