“There will never be another Stan Lee.”
Those were the words shared by Chris Evans, aka Captain America, following the news that the comic book legend had passed away at the age of 95. How true those words are. Never again will we see someone bring so much joy and adventure, to so many, in so many ways, including his famous cameos in all the Marvel movies.
Lee was known for a lot of things. Mainly for his work with Marvel Comics, and the creation of iconic characters such as Spider-Man, the X-Men, The Fantastic Four and many, many more. His devotion to entertaining people will forever live on with his work in comic books.
Lee would regularly pop in movies based on works that he was involved in. Again and again, Lee’s hilarious cameo appearances became a fun game while watching the latest Marvel movie, as many would try to guess when Lee would eventually pop up.
It is those cameos that I think I will miss the most. Or, at the very least, it will be then when it finally dawns on me that he is really gone. Not seeing him make an appearance will be a shock, because it became a part of what made the Marvel movies so special.
