11. Fantastic Four (2005)

So just like the 2003 Hulk movie, the 2005 Fantastic Four movie crashed and burned at such a rate most of us had already decided we hated this movie before we even went to see it.

However, just like the 2003 Hulk movie, Lee’s cameo in the 2005 Fantastic Four movie is a big moment in the Marvel history of cameos, and one that makes you overlook all the bad because the cameo is so good.

You see, up to this point, almost every cameo appearance that Stan Lee had performed was as a random person. Nobody of any significance to the story, or anything like that. That changed with the 2005 Fantastic Four movie when he appeared as an actual character from the comics.

Appearing as Willie Lumpkin, a supporting character who first appeared in the 60s, Lee can be seen delivering some post to Reed Richards in the Baxter Building lobby.

Lumpkin frequently featured in the Fantastic Four comics, so it was great to see the creator of the superheroes appear as one of the characters he created. Sadly, Lumpkin never got to show off his special skills, which is being able to wiggle both his ears and nose at the same time.
