10. Big Hero 6 (2014)

We’ve reached the top 10, and kicking things off in the no.10 spot is the only animated move on this list, Big Hero 6. A movie that is technically Disney but was inspired by Marvel, which is how the big guy managed to land a cameo appearance in the movie. Something that Stan Lee was reportedly chuffed to be working on. With Disney being such a big part of his life when growing up, he was more than happy to be involved in the project.

Just like so many other ameos that we have seen so far on this list, this was another movie that featured not just one, but two appearances. However, unlike the previous cameos we have discussed, both his appearances in Big Hero 6 made it into the movie, rather than one of them being left behind on the cutting room floor, banished to the DVD / Blue-Ray extra special features.

Appearing as Fred’s dad in the animated movie, Lee’s first cameo appearance is nothing hugely special. He appears, quite plainly, in a family portrait. His second appearance comes towards the very end of the movie, as in the post-credits.  We see him again, in the animated flesh, appearing in front of young Fred. They got the likeness of the comic book legend just right in the cameo appearance, which is something I am sure Stan Lee was very grateful for.
