When asked about what’s going to happen with the X-Men now, Bob Iger told Hollywood Reporter, “It only makes sense for Marvel to be supervised by one entity. There shouldn’t be two Marvels.” This gives everyone hope that we’ll finally get to see all of the crossovers we’ve wanted for years.

There are a plethora of characters that fans would love to see in the future. Colossus, Jubilee, and Psylocke are some examples of heroes who can make their appearance. There are also villains like Omega Red, Sabretooth, and Mystique who we’d all love to see fight the Avengers or the X-Men.

25. Monet St. Croix

Who is she?

Monet St. Croix is a hidden jewel in Marvel Comics that the world needs to see. She’s the daughter of an ambassador and coming from wealth and privilege made her worldly and confident.  Monet hitting jackpot of superpowers just added to that.

She is super strong, flies at supersonic speeds, is invulnerable and she can read minds. She may seem like a spoiled rich woman, but that is a facade. Monet told a therapist (Leonard Samson) that she has to make a conscious decision every morning to not kill herself. Monet spent a good part of her life being used as a source of food by her brother Emplate – something she still has nightmares about.

Why this will work

Adding Monet’s backstory and struggle to keep up appearances would work great with the audience. Watching her overcome these obstacles is a good lesson for everyone. Beyond that, she is one bad-ass character who wasn’t afraid to talk smack to the Hulk.

It would also be nice to see a Muslim female character on screen. Especially one as powerful and commanding as her. Monet could make a good side character in a movie, but she could work well in a TV series with other mutants where the writers could explore who she is.
