1. Wolverine

Who is he?

Wolverine came onto the scene and became the X-Men’s resident bad boy. At first, Wolverine was just a guy who didn’t follow the rules. He figured the best way to save the day was to kill people.

As time went on he became the guy who was willing to put his life and soul on the line to protect the X-Men. A lot of growth went into making Wolverine more than a one-dimensional character. He became a big brother to the younger mutants, a leader, and reopened the school to give mutants a chance to more than just fight.

Why this works

Wolverine is the best there is at what he does and what he does is make money. Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine has been a draw for over a decade and we haven’t even scratched the surface of his potential. The movies didn’t dive deep into how he became a samurai, when he was being manipulated by Romulus, or any of his time in World War 2. Heck, we can even get a project when Captain America and Black Widow met Wolverine.

There is unlimited potential with Wolverine. Movies may be the easy road, but he would probably make a much better TV show than movie. I guarantee that regardless of how things go with the X-Men with the Disney contract, that Wolverine will be one of their biggest draws.
