19. Domino

Who is she?

You probably remember Domino from the popular Deadpool 2 movie. It was a great representation of her personality and her powers. Domino is a mutant mercenary. It seems like her motivation is money, but, when the chips are down, she’s always chooses to be the hero.

She’s been a member of X-Force with Cable and once with Wolverine. She’s also been an X-Man. As a member of both teams, she’s also helped save the world multiple times.

Why this works

If I said that I knew Domino would be this popular after Deadpool 2 I’d be lying. Like they touched on in the movie, no one would think Domino’s luck powers would translate well into a movie. Well, they were wrong. As a fan of hers from the comics, I shouldn’t be shocked. The things that happen in her favor are both hilarious and cool.

In the comics she has started to get more calculated with how she uses her powers. She’s making things happen instead of waiting for them to happen by chance. This is making her more dangerous than she’s ever been. That, topped with her sense of humor will make her one of the most popular characters in the MCU. She is also skilled enough to make the Avengers roster. Don’t be shocked when that happens in the comic books and eventually in the movies.
