Five comic book characters Keanu Reeves could play

2. Doctor Doom

Imagine Keanu Reeves taking on the Fantastic Four and other Marvel characters as Doctor Doom. With Disney acquiring the rights to all of Fox’s Marvel characters — expect the Fantastic Four to pop up.

As a matter of fact, at least one director, Peyton Reed has some ideas on how to introduce the Fantastic Four into the MCU. Of course with their arrival, there’s one man Marvel fans want to see, and that’s Doctor Doom.

There have been a couple of live-action depictions of Doctor Doom. Unfortunately, neither followed the story in the pages of Marvel Comics. Fans have yet to see the diabolical monarch and ruler of Latveria.

Victor Von Doom is known throughout Marvel as one of the most fearsome evildoers to ever exist. Doctor Doom is more than scientist he’s a master of sorcery who’s prowess rivals anyone that comes his way. He’s battled everyone from the Avengers to intergalactic beings. Although a villain, Victor’s origin story makes for an epic movie.

As a matter of fact, Noah Hawley has a Doctor Doom script completed. Victor’s rich history and connection to the Fantastic Four as well as the rest of the Marvel universe should entice Kevin Fiege. Likewise, Keanu Reeves should jump on the chance to make a solo movie. He hasn’t played a character this powerful since Neal in the Matrix.
