1. Avengers: Infinity War

Does it come as any surprise that the MCU’s epic came this far? Sure, some of you were probably assuming it was the number one comic book movie and right you are! Avengers: Infinity War was one of the biggest draws of 2018! It opened in May at number one, for three weekends, bringing in over $500 million by the end of its run at the number one spot! It came as no surprise it would be a big money maker.

$678.8 was its final domestic gross. The MCU grabbed over $1.3 billion from overseas! You read that right, $1.3 billion! We have to wait now until Avengers: Endgame releases, but right now this is the number one best-selling Avengers film.

Worldwide, the film made over $2 billion. All of this was done on a $300 million budget. No doubt this film was going to be expensive, with a cast like that and CGI in every nook and cranny. Safe to say, the film made back its budget and then some!
