Punisher season 3

Netflix has already canceled Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Iron Fist. It would seem that the writing would be on the wall for Punisher. However, it may not have the same fate as the other Netflix shows. Among those reasons is Punisher fits the Netflix style more than any of the other Marvel shows that were canceled. Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil are all gritty shows, but not like Punisher. There’s no remorse for the people that Punisher goes after and the audience may like his approach more than the other heroes.

Another reason is that you don’t need to follow the comic book series much to do this series. While it would be nice to see nods to the comic books series in the show, it isn’t necessary. Frank Castle spends the majority of his time-fighting gangsters, drug dealers, and other various criminals. So there’s no real need to use the Punisher’s rogues’ gallery.

Comic book storylines we won’t see in Netflix’s Marvel shows. light. Related Story

While it would great to see villains like Nicky Cavella, Barracuda, and Ma Gnucci, they aren’t needed. Even if they do use them, they’re characters that don’t require special effects and can be cast without fans making too much of a fuss if things are changed.
