Riverdale will return for its latest saga on Wednesday, Jan. 23, with “Chapter Forty-Five: The Stranger.” A look at how to watch season 3, episode 10 online.
Riverdale returned Wednesday, Jan. 16, with its first episode after the winter break. It fast-forwarded a handful of storylines, including Betty at Sisters of Quiet Mercy, ending their terror in town. Mysteries remain, however, after an eye-opening episode.
The focus surrounds Archie Andrews, who went on a bizarre vision quest, if it can be called that, in episode 9. It resulted in him bloodied and dying on a bed, with officers tending to him, concerned of Archie’s status.
Archie seemed long gone, but Riverdale teased Jughead Jones’ death in season 2, only to return him the next episode as beaten and bloodied. It was a way to keep viewers intriguing for a week, and the show may have done it, again, for “Chapter Forty-Five: The Stranger.”

Who’s “the stranger,” exactly? That’s another case for the main cast to uncover, if it’s anyone. Maybe this involves Hiram Lodge, who’s at the forefront of Archie leaving town and the ongoing Gryphons and Gargoyles saga in Riverdale.
Basically, all roads lead to Hiram, so it would not be a surprise to see another villainous plot unfold in “Chapter Forty-Five: The Stranger.” Unless someone else rises to cause carnage.
