6. Caitlin and Ronnie (The Flash)

Caitlin Snow may be one of Team Flash’s friendliest faces, but she wasn’t always that way. Back in Season 1, she was a shell of the woman she once was, indifferent to her friends and unable to crack a smile, but all this was down to the understandable fact that her fiancée, Ronnie Raymond, was killed in the particle accelerator explosion – or at least she thought he was.

One big twist later, it was revealed that Ronnie was actually alive and had merged with Professor Stein to become Firestorm. While this brought unwanted complications into her life (from sharing a body with Stein to an attack by the military), it didn’t matter to either of them because they were thrilled to have found each other again.

While their reunion was short-lived due to Ronnie’s death in the Central City wormhole, they managed to make every single second count, finally getting married in front of their loved ones. In the few months that we saw their relationship progress all over again, they loved a lifetime’s worth. On a professional level, they understood and respected each other while on a personal level, they were as endearing and, quite frankly, cute as you could possibly wish for.

Caitlin loves everyone who comes into her life with all her heart, but there is no doubt about it, Ronnie was, is and always will be her soulmate. They overcame nuclear experiments, kidnappings and even death to be together and, although we know how it all ended for them, we still want, more than anything, for them to overcome it once more.
