“The Flash” adds to its cast as another well-known name joins the Arrowverse.

The Flash will add to its already-impressive cast list, as Kimberly Williams-Paisley will guest star in the upcoming episode “Goldfaced,” the thirteenth episode of season five.

This news was previously reported by TVLine.

According to TVLine, Williams-Paisley will play “multiple versions” of Renee Adler, one of several ex-wives of detective Sherloque Wells (Tom Cavanagh).

Cavanagh has played four different main roles throughout the series, thanks to the at-times fluid and wonky rules of the Multiverse, at somewhere between eight and ten alternative versions of Harrison Wells.

The two have worked together before, starring as a married couple in the 2006 film adaptation of Thomas Rockwell’s 1973 young-adult novel How to Eat Fried Worms.

Just as Sherloque is modeled after Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes, it is likely that Williams-Paisley’s character of Renee Adler will be at least partially based on Irene Adler, the only known woman Sherlock ever fell in love with.

Williams-Paisley is likely best known for playing Steve Martin’s daughter Annie Banks-McKenzie in the Father of the Bride films, though she has also starred in a main role as Jim’s sister Dana on According to Jim and had a recurring role as Gretchen on Two and a Half Men.

Her recurring role of Peggy Kenter on Nashville came naturally, as in real life she is married to country music star Brad Paisley.

This season the STAR Labs team is dealing with the sudden arrival of Barry and Iris’ daughter Nora West-Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy) into the present, along with the threat of the anti-metahuman crusader Orlin Dwyer/Cicada (Chris Klein). Jesse L Martin will return soon from a medical leave of absence.

“Goldfaced” will air on The CW on Tuesday, February 5 at 8 p.m. ET.
