Avengers: Infinity War is the 8th best-selling DVD of the year and 3rd best-selling Blu-ray of the year. Overall, it is the 5th best-selling movie of 2018. Strange how Justice League can sell more DVDs, probably because fans felt that film is passable on DVD, but not Thanos and his big debut! Of course, the film debuts at the number one spot, yet then fell back thanks to Deadpool 2. This is still quite strange, given this is the first for Thanos. Perhaps most of the buyers bought it during the first week, or people prefer to see Josh Brolin as Cable over Thanos.

One thing that makes Avengers: Infinity War  a success is that the movie was set at a higher price. It sold less units than the last Avengers film, but it made more money. This is the only comic book movie of 2018 to generate six-digit figures. The last time the MCU made over $100 million from a home release was Guardians of The Galaxy. More feathers in its hat are that it sold more DVDs than Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as well as more Blu-rays than The Greatest ShowmanThe Incredibles 2 and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
