Avengers: Endgame: 15 fan theories so crazy, they might be true

6. Scott Lang is a Skrull

I recently wrote a post about 15 people who will possibly die in Avengers: Endgame. Among those people were Scott Lang. However, not in the way you’re thinking. The Scott Lang we saw in the previews could actually be one of the shape-shifting alien called the Skrulls.

It was weird that Scott Lang was the big reveal at the end of the Avengers: Endgame trailer. There has to be a reason he was put in a place where everyone could see it was him. This looks like a fake-out. We may love Paul Rudd and his role as Ant-Man, but let’s be honest, there’s an ant-sized chance he’s the one who’s going to save the day. This makes a lot of sense. Especially going into the next couple of phases in the MCU.

Crazy Scale: 9

One of the next stories in the MCU could be the Skrulls Secret Invasion. In the comics, the Skrulls make it a point to try and take over Earth by swapping out people and learning their secrets in order to defeat them. They infiltrated, the U.S. Government, the Avengers, and even Wakanda.

Scott Lang is perfect since he has Steve Rogers’ trust and no one knows a lot about him. Also, the Skrulls have as much as anyone else to avenge with Thanos’ snap as their people weren’t exempt from turning into dust.
