12. Loki lives

This may shock you, but Loki died in Avengers: Infinity War. It also may shock you that this isn’t the first time Loki has died in the MCU. If you haven’t caught on, this is pure sarcasm.

Loki has a habit of faking his death in both the movies and the comic books. When Thanos kills Loki in the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War, no one was shocked. Even when it’s said that Loki was dead for real, no one really believes those reports either. It doesn’t help that Forbes reported that Tom Hiddleston will star in a Loki project on Disney’s streaming app.

During Siege, Loki was killed by The Void. What we didn’t know at the time was that Loki previously made a deal with multiple gods of Hell (and Hel) that kept him from staying dead. Who’s to say this isn’t the case in the MCU?

Loki is the God of Mischief. Of course he’s going to have a trick or two up his sleeve. Especially knowing that there was a good chance that Thanos was going to kill him for failing in The Avengers and then for trying to kill him in Avengers: Infinity War. Loki can never be trusted. Even in death. Don’t be shocked when he pops up out of nowhere or helps Thor defeat Thanos.
