Taskmaster

Taskmaster is one of the most skilled fighters in the Marvel Universe. He has the ability to see a anything and immediately replicate it. Not just fighting styles or acrobatic moves. For example, he can watch someone put a gun together and do it exactly like he saw it. These skills have served him well as a trainer (he had a hand in training Jessica Drew and U.S. Agent) and a mercenary. He’s gone up against the entirety of the Avengers and held his own and beaten Spider-Man, Deadpool, and a few of the best fighters in Marvel. However, Taskmaster wasn’t always a mercenary.

Before he was a merc, he was Tony Masters; agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Masters took a serum while he was on a mission that gave him the photographic reflexes he has. They gave him these skills, but they came at a price. Whenever he learned a move, he’d forget something. It got so bad that he forgot he was married. Nick Fury eventually started using him as an undercover agent and Taskmaster never knew it.

It would be easy to use him name as an agent who was there during the early days of S.H.I.E.L.D. The serum could even be something the Kree or Skrulls created. Dropping his name would excite fans of the comics. This would let them know that Taskmaster’s on the way.
