7. Punisher VS Billy Russo

The Punisher Season 1, “Memento Mori”

It took a long time and a lot of blood, but Frank Castle found everyone responsible for the death of his family. Among those involved was Frank’s best friend Billy Russo. It was time for Billy to settle up right where Frank lost his family. You’d look at Billy and assume he didn’t stand a chance against the Punisher. He may look and dress like a pretty-boy, but he is every bit as tough as Frank is!

They punched, kicked, and even stabbed each other repeatedly. Frank had the disadvantage of being beaten down for days while Billy was essentially living in luxury. Frank wasn’t going to let something like being severely injured stop him, though, and he had righteous vengeance on his side.

Just when things looked bleak for Frank, he managed to get the advantage by stabbing Billy with a giant piece of broken glass. After that, we may have seen the most brutal moment in the Netflix series. Frank dragged Billy’s face across a broken mirror and then repeatedly smashed Billy’s face on the mirror. Frank wanted Billy to see his mangled face every morning and remember what he did.

Jigsawed

Beyond it being one heck of a fight, Frank got revenge better than anyone on this list. Frank finished off Billy and made certain that he scarred him for life. Season 2 of The Punisher may have shown that Frank should’ve killed Billy, but it was worth it to see what he did to the man who betrayed him during this showdown.
