11. Punisher bar fight.

The Punisher Season 2, “Roadhouse Blues”

At the end of Season 1 of The Punisher, it looked like Frank Castle had finally found some peace. With his family’s death avenged, he didn’t have the need for violence anymore. It was time to start over. It was a nice dream. Too bad a dark murderous cloud follows Frank wherever he goes.

Frank was at a bar where he met a woman and started developing feelings. While he was there, he noticed a young girl named Amy being tailed by a group of people. Frank followed Amy and intervened when she was being assaulted in the bathroom. The violent fight went from the bathroom to the dance floor and ended when Frank shot and killed the people who were dumb enough to follow him after he and Amy left the bar.

The Punisher is back!

Frank hadn’t lost any of his edge or violent creativity during his brief retirement. For example, he noticed their suspicious behavior when they came into the bar and, when it got to the fight, Frank was his normal brutal self. The scene was clear, violent, and realistic. Frank is a versed fighter, but he’s not indestructible. He took his hits and capitalized when he could. More importantly, this set the scene for the rest of the season. There was no doubt that this season wouldn’t be bloodier than the previous one.
