10. Jessica Drew
Jessica Drew has one of the more tragic stories in Marvel Comics. She was poisoned as a child after long exposure to uranium, tricked into working for Hydra, gained powers only to lose them, left S.H.I.E.L.D., abducted by Skrulls, and became the face of their invasion.
Despite all of that, Jessica Drew still kept herself together. She became an Avenger, crucial agent of S.W.O.RD. (think S.H.I.E.L.D. but in space), and helped saved the multiverse along with the other Spider-People
Beyond Jessica Drew having an origin story that people would get into, Jessica Drew is awesome. She’s one of the best spies in the Marvel Universe, more courageous than some of the best superheroes, and is a perfect fit for any kind of project in the MCU.
She doesn’t need to be an Avenger. She could be the super spy of the MCU. The spy genre could be a new set of movies to tackle and Jessica Drew is the right person to get it started. It doesn’t have to be the typical secret agent movie. Getting someone like Abigail Brand or Carol Danvers with Jessica could kickstart Agents of S.W.O.RD. where they could chase alien threats on Earth.
