Black Lightning: What questions do we have for season 3?
By Mark Lynch
Dr. Helga Jace and Markovia
Dr. Helga Jace started and ended the season only thinking about herself and her experiments. She caused the death of multiple pod kid,s and we find out later that she’s responsible for Tobias remaining so young. She experimented on him without his permission, and he isn’t the only person. Markovia grabbed her to help them create more metas for their cause. She doesn’t care about human life, and it looks like this will work in her favor.
What’s next?
Dr. Jace may live to regret joining Markovia so willingly. She thinks she’s the smartest and most important person in any room, no matter how many times it’s been proven that she isn’t. She also may assume she can control the situation in Markovia and that it’s better there than in jail. What Dr. Jace doesn’t realize is that she may have exchanged one prison for one with more space. She will enjoy running her experiments, but she’s admitted that she needs Lynn to make things work. The people in Markovia know this, as well. If she doesn’t produce results, the Markovians may try to kidnap Lynn again or kill Dr. Jace for failing them.
