Days back FOX published a teaser poster for the final two episodes of Gotham teasing the appearance of Batman.

While there has been little press regarding the official teaser of the final two episodes of the last season of Gotham, on the show’s Twitter, an image was posted online of the cowl mask and over the shoulder of Batman (ears and all) on the photo.

Following episode No.10 of Gotham season 5 entitled ‘I Am Bane’, the show was put on a hiatus for four weeks since Mar. 21. With the identity of Theresa Walker (Jaime Murray) revealed as the daughter of The Demon’s Head, not Talia, but Nyssa al Ghul, Gotham is hanging in the balance of Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and Captain James Gordon (Ben McKenzie). While Nyssa tortured Gordon in front of Wayne and a Venom-infused Eduardo Dorrance (Shane West) is transformed into Bane and sent to kill Barbara Kean (Erin Richards), who is currently giving birth to a newborn child.

On the forthcoming episode No.11, ‘They Did What?’ it is all out war as Gordon and the GCPD team up with Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) and Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) to stop the military. Gotham season 5, initially ten episodes in length was expanded to twelve as revealed by Comicbook.com.

It seems Wayne undoubtedly will not be able to shake off his destiny Ra’s al Ghul once prophesied as the poster has teased “The Dark Knight is upon us.” In terms of Mazouz being in the Batman suit, “Yes and no,” the showrunner John Stephens answered. There was green screen footage of Mazouz that leaked of him in costume. While the suit designed “for someone six-foot-four,” he stated not only you will see [his] face, you will hear Mazouz’s own “Batman growl.”

While the producers of Gotham are keeping things close to their chest on what is the exact catalyst in this five-year journey that leads Wayne to don the cape and cowl – to finally become the savior for the city of Gotham.
