After losing to him in Infinity War, how can the Avengers defeat the Mad Titan Thanos in Endgame?

Avengers: Endgame is going to be the Avengers’ toughest battle to date. They’ve all lost to Thanos once, so they aren’t going to be very confident going into this fight. Thankfully, they have the phenomenal Captain Marvel on their side now. Plus, they know what to expect from Thanos this time around. However, neither of those elements ensure victory. Thanos still has the Infinity Stones, and even without them, he is far from a pushover. That being said, how do you beat the Mad Titan? Well, allow me to “Star-Lord” my plan and tell you how. And this plan won’t involve one of the fighters losing their cool.

Keep him off balance

After revisiting Avenger: Infinity for the umpteenth time, something was very obvious. Thanos can’t multitask during a fight. As much as Star-Lord messed everything up, his plan worked. The random assaults from different directions kept him off balance. Iron Man crashing the ship into him from the sky, Spider-Man using the “magic kicks”, and even Drax taking Thanos’ legs out were effective, as  all of these constant and surprise attacks stopped Thanos from being able to focus. Once he could, the fight was over pretty quickly.

Something as powerful as the Infinity Gauntlet must be difficult to use when you can’t focus. If Thanos keeps getting hit then he won’t be able to concentrate on how to attack them.  Once he’s off his game, he may get frustrated and sloppy. A sloppy fighter is easier to beat than a focused one. Even during his one on one fight Dr. Strange, you could see how annoyed Thanos was that he couldn’t beat him the Sorcerer Supreme so easily. Sure, that’s easier said than done. But it’s one way to do it, and this is only step one. After that, you move on to step two.
