Marvel’s Disney Plus series to reportedly have six to eight episodes each

Marvel’s planned shows to expand its universe into television will reportedly feature fewer than 10 episodes each.

Avengers: Endgame might have the hype now, but when Disney’s streaming service, Disney Plus, releases in November, it will build off the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which was only seen in the movie theater.

Four television shows, all without release dates, are ahead: WandaVision, the Loki series, the Falcon and Winter Soldier series and another on Hawkeye. Each will have an adventure yet to be determined, but there is an idea of how long these tales may last.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, each series will have six to eight episodes. It falls in line similar to what Netflix does with its original programs and far less than DC Universe, which has produced double-digit episode series for Titans and Doom Patrol.

That leaves from 24 to 32 episodes to expand the MCU on television and potentially impact future films. It brings actors like Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner and Tom Hiddleston to their classic roles once again and not for a one-off viewing, either, like a movie.

Whenever these shows release, there will be ample content for MCU fans to focus their eyes on, especially as the official movie schedule remains mysterious after Spider-Man: Far From HomeThe Eternals, Shang-Chi and Black Widow have all been rumored or confirmed dating back to 2018, and the THR piece also speculated the inevitable Black Panther and Doctor Strange sequels will happen.

How a schedule is constructed amid the usual two or three movies released per year is worth watching. Will Marvel overlap them with show releases? Will they be spaced out?
