3. Thor lets himself go

Once the dust has settled (sorry!), from Avengers: Infinity War, the remaining heroes are at their lowest ebb. Not only had they lost, but in doing so, half of the living beings in the universe had been removed from existence, including a number of their companions.

Thor was no different, he was angry that he wasn’t able to stop Thanos’ plan and fell into depression.

Five years after the snap, we meet Thor in New Asgard, a small town he’d set up with the surviving Asgardians, but he had become a bit of a recluse. He was the leader of the town, but he wasn’t seen around very often at all. That was until the Avengers came looking for him.

Arriving at his house, they find Thor living with Korg and Miek and he isn’t the god we’ve come to know. Thor has let himself go considerably. He has a beer belly and his hair is unkempt, a far cry from the sculpted man we knew before. As well as this, he spends his days playing Fortnite online with his friends, which results in a hilarious conversation with NoobMaster69.

Eventually, Thor rejoins the fight, but he’s clearly been broken by the events of the previous film.
