Episode 21 had a startling revelation: the identity of the Gargoyle King. Edgar Evernever was the suspected person behind the costume for a few weeks, until Jughead Jones learned it was Jason Blossom.

Yes, the same Jason Blossom who died in the pilot episode of Riverdale.

How is this possible? Jughead assumed the same, as he dug up Jason’s grave, only to find the body was not there.

It also ties to Cheryl “seeing” Jason earlier this season at the Farm. Betty went through a similar experience by seeing “herself,” only to realize it was her sister, Polly. Does that mean what happened to Cheryl was real?

Along with this, Betty’s father, Hal “Black Hood” Cooper is on the loose. He could be in cahoots with Jason, given the close family ties with the Blossoms.

Whatever the case is, “Chapter Fifty-Seven: Survive the Night” will tell all to fans looking for resolutions.
