These Deadpool stories are perfect for a movie.
Deadpool was an immediate success when it hit the theaters. The promotional posters, trailers, and random videos that were released kept people entertained and interested in the movie. Both movies made good on all of the anticipation that led up to its release. It killed a few rated-R records and was the No. 1 movie opening weekend twice.
Rob Liefield seems confident that Deadpool will have bright future in Disney. Hopefully that means they can continue the continuity that was created and new movies are coming in the future. Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool should be one of the few movies to keep its cast and continuity once Marvel Studios starts producing movies 20th Century Fox characters start. The first two films were original ideas, but there are other comic book stories that would make fantastic movie ideas.
For example, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is one of the best Deadpool stories ever. On top of that, Captain America and Wolverine are major parts of the story. What other Deadpool stories would make excellent choices for movies? Well, the obvious choice of an X-Force film.

The Gauntlet
Deadpool had a string of bad luck. He gained a friend (Agent Preston) and then she was killed by George Washington. He found out he had a daughter, but the mother was killed. Tried to be left alone, but a crooked former S.H.I.E.L.D. that owed him money a hit was put out on Deadpool. After this plus a few other things, Wade decided to leave the country in search of some peace. In typical fashion, Deadpool didn’t find any peace. In fact, a bird pooped on him his first day at the beach.
After saving a woman, Wade gets hired by Dracula to bring him his betrothed wife Shiklah from her sarcophagus. What happens next is a semi-world tour where the two fall in love. Shiklah also finds out that Dracula killed her brothers and is only marrying her to claim her hold on Monster Metropolis.
Wade may be married to Vanessa (who knows if she’s alive after the time travel thing), but that doesn’t mean she will be alive forever. After she dies, Deadpool would probably leave New York to be alone. It’s easy to see him coming across Dracula just like in the comic and going on a similar adventure. This is a fun story that also has a message of love. This could also be the introduction of Dracula and the return of Bob.
