Deadpool was on a mission to kill one of the Four Winds (crime bosses in Japan). Just as he was about to get the kill shot, he’s pushed out off the roof and into the room where the Four Winds were. As he’s falling, Wade sees his target and tries to shoot him. Not only does he hit his target, he gets all four of them in the heart. Even though he openly admits it was an accident, this ups his reputation to an international level. The bad part is, he ruined someone’s last hit.

We later find out that Deadpool didn’t kill those people. A “gentleman” mercenary named Black Swan killed them and Wade got the credit. This was supposed to be Swan’s last hit. Instead, Wade got the credit. Later, Swan tricks him into coming to his castle and puts a virus in Wade’s brain that deletes his memory. Deadpool eventually finds out what happens and kills Swan. Before Wade could escape, the briefcase bomb he has explodes and kills him.

This project could be the perfect ending to Deadpool’s run. A Swan Song if you will. Deadpool gets all the fame and fortune that he’s always wanted and is killed. There’s not no more Deadpool ending than that. Especially since it finishes with him killing a guy who’s probably ok with killing children.
