1. Dominating and winning
Movie: Avengers: Infinity War
Thanos was moving from place to place, beating everyone who challenged him. First, it was the Asgardians and the Hulk. He then went on to defeat the Guardians of the Galaxy and took Gamora in the process. The only thing left to do was get the last two stones. First, the Time Stone. He had to defeat Dr. Strange, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Nebula, Mantis, Drax, and Star-Lord on Titan. It’s not an easy task one-on-one, but he beat them all (with a little help from Star-Lord being too emotional). After Dr. Strange relinquished the Time Stone to Thanos, it was off to Earth.
Wanda had the unfortunate duty of destroying the Mind Stone in her boyfriend Vision’s head. With a heavy heart, she destroyed the stone, killing Vision. Thanos tells Wanda that he lost more than she could know on that very day, but it wasn’t the time to mourn. He reverses time, brings Vision back, and rips the stone from his head. As a result, he makesWanda watch the man she loves die twice. After that, Thanos dominated everyone around. Thor had a chance, but didn’t get the kill shot. And with a snap of his fingers, Thanos was victorious.
How many villains can say they won? And it wasn’t a momentary victory. He actually defeated the Avengers and completed his goal. So much so that some of them took the loss so hard they quit being heroes. Even though < ahref = “https://bamsmackpow.com/2019/04/22/avengers-endgame-theories-thanos-lose/”>Thor killed him at the beginning of Endgame, it meant nothing. Thanos won. Even in death.
