Rogue and Gambit Face the Guilds in Mr. And Mrs. X No. 11

All Villain Guilds Have Dungeons. It’s Standard Procedure!
Never in the history of superhero comics have villains talking about ceremonies led to anything good! In short order, Gambit finds himself captured and chained up from the ceiling of a dank cell. His reputation for escapes is so severe that Belladonna is triple checking to make sure he had a cavity search which was so “invasive an’ aggressive” that he’s officially a rape victim. Yet not even being rejected by Remy multiple times has prevented her from having some sympathy for him.

However, it seems like Rogue follows her heart and not her head, as she’s tracked Gambit down in no time flat. And as anyone in the Marvel Universe knows, Rogue isn’t someone who it isn’t wise to make angry. In no time flat, she’s mopping the floor with both guilds, whether with her fists and feet or her new “long range” absorbing powers. Not even Belladonna has a chance at keeping Rogue apart from her husband. Unfortunately, Rogue also has a habit of turning her back on an enemy!

It turns out the united guilds are responsible for more than capturing the titular couple. They were the ones who left Spiral’s enchanted box behind at the engagement party. That was the item which zapped both Gambit and Rogue into Mojo‘s clutches, and what was presumed to be their deaths. Now that both have escaped Mojo, Candra has decided to make Rogue the centerpiece of her mysterious ritual, while Remy is forced to watch! The next and last issue is sure to be intense!
